EN 1092-1 Flange Dimensions

EN 1092-1 is the harmonised European standard for steel pipe flanges, gradually replacing the national DIN 2632/2633/2527 tables. It sizes flanges by DN and rates them by PN, and identifies the flange shape by a type number — type 11 weld neck, type 05 blind, type 12 and 13 slip-on and type 01 plate flange.
For the same DN and PN, EN 1092-1 dimensions are generally compatible with the older DIN tables, but the type, facing and tolerance must still be confirmed. EN flanges are not interchangeable with ASME B16.5 flanges: bolt circles and hole counts differ even where the outside diameter looks the same. The PN6 range starts at DN10 in EN 1092-1, although some 2018 catalogues begin PN6 at DN15.

PN16 means 16 bar nominal at ambient temperature for EN material group 1, derating with temperature per the EN 1092-1 tables.
